Process

Each piece of art is comprised of custom stressed elements inte­grated at every stage of its development, which results in a unique, ancient looking document. The messages are printed on ordinary paper which are then distressed and stained with a variety of chemicals. Optional accents to the piece are comprised of hemp thread stitched into the distressed paper, rustic nails which are exposed to weather conditions over a long period of time and hand-made paper placed behind the printed poem for a dimensional effect.
